Chinnesse turbo???

Chinnesse turbo???

Postby Javier de Andrés » Tue Jul 06, 2010 8:58 am

Hi guys,

I have seen a factory in china that manufactures turbos for many vehícles.
Price is very good and they salesman told me they use the same calibration machines as other european and american manufacter. The only diferences between both are the material of the housing and the bearings (chinese high quality).
But the shaft and the inner parts are the same quality.
I can buy 5 turbos for the diference.
China has the manufacture of lot of spares which are distributed to korea ,india, turquey, for OEM`s as TATA.

¿Will you relay in chinesse spare parts?
¿Does anyone know about their performance?

Thanks.

Looking forward to this report very much!

BTW, they do communicate rather well - got both price quote and shipping information in two e-mails within two hours.

I would be happy to hear more about it's quality and performance..
Not sure if the housing would crack in within a short period of time

Hello guys,

Sorry for the long time of my reply, but i've been on holidays an i had to leave the assembly in the middle.
Now i'm back, with fresh energy. jaja.
First of all i knew i had to modify my oil lines for the new turbo, i sawed the wrong line by mistake and also the one that i needed.
I´m looking after a dealer which sell hydraulic fittings.
When I finish i will tell you the result.
I am going to replace to oem ECU firstly, then STAGE Nº1.
Ithink before the end of the month i will tell you something.

Thanks.
