Ive been changing modes etc on Lysmask stg3 bin has anyone come across KNK1,KNK2 3&4 ?

Are these the knock readings? I cannot see anyone has mentioned them in this thread nor is it in t7wiki.

From memory they are accesible in mode4

They are custom added, thats why they are not in any list.

I have noticed recently that certain changes to SIDI cause confusion in what type of fuel is being used for Biopower bins. I have changed a few of the SID display names, and when I fill up with E85 it says Gas, and vice versa. Anyone else see this?

knk1 = Cylinder 1??
....
knk4 = Cylinder 4?

You've set the same address for all cylinders, that will only show knock count for cylinder 1 in Knk1-4.
You need to add 2 bytes to the address for each cylinder, have a look at page 5 in this doc for an example.

Thx!

I had the wrong map, must be: "KnkDetAdap.KnkCntCyl"

I hope, the numer given is Cylinder #1
I´ve addet +2 for each Cylinder.

Question: Must be the ID always 1 or
for each Cylinder Different
Cylinder 1 ID=1
Cylinder 2 ID=2

Addresses looks correct now, the ID should be same for all four, 01 works fine.

Re: Live engine data on SID

Hi all,

I have been driving for a couple of weeks now with a new flash with live SID, but I noticed that activating the live modus through pushing (+) and (-) is getting more difficult. I had to press the buttons more and more. Today I couldn't activate live SID anymore, no matter how often/hard I pressed (with or without brake pedal). The individual (+) and (-) buttons work just fine, no hesitation whatsoever. I haven't done anything to the car last several weeks.

Anyone had this experience? Should I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery?

Okay so I have been having a real fun time with my car in the passed few days, severe bucking under acceleration.
Err says 2. sometimes 3 then goes back to 2. NO cel.
The code I get on Fcod is 4407. I understand that this is for to 02 sensor code 1137. Now when I hold set on Fcod and move - or + i see 4406 and 4408 is that the other 2 codes?
I have the second lambda disabled though it is a stock exhaust, because the exhaust will soon be catless :-) Do I have a bad o2 sensor? When it seems to run its worst the lambda reads 0.
but it still bucks sometimes when the lambda reading is all over the place -400 to 600 The Mair and Mlow seem to be within normal range 60-80 idle and 500-900 depending on throttle.
The car ran great on this tune for about 3 months including all the way to Georgia and back to Texas. So I am assuming something mechanical is the problem or sensor wise. I kept having vacuum lines blow off but I have remedied that mostly with new lines. No more leaks that I can tell.

Have you filled up with more than 10liters of fuel each time? Otherwise the adaptation might be off.
Did I not answer the Error codes issue in a pm earlier? Can only see one of you haven't modified SIDi manually.

Hrm that could be problem, I usually put in about 10 gallons of e85 in but last time I ran out premature and ended up puting about 10 gallons of gas in, then putting 10 in of e85 when I reached plano.

I didn't get a response for the Sid thing *I will check again* I figured the live engine data thread would probably yield an answer to the code thing. Alright. So I guess I will try an o2 sensor and see if I can rid myself of the code. I just was curious to what the second code might be.

I was driving the B235R+ Biopower upgrade from our Mackan (review in other topic), but because I drive a my'06 9-5 Aero I was not able to use the live data on SID unit.

Now I copied the maps from Mackan's file into my own firmware and 'opened' the software. But unfortunately there is no life in live SID available when pressing the knobs (tried all the knobs on the steering wheel in all directions etc.)

Can somebody tell me if I overlooked something? Did or do I something wrong?

Check with J.K. Nilsson, he might be able to fick the button issue :)

if you mean this:

To enter Sidi on a 9-5 MY 2006 or later, have a opened -06 or later firmware, press and hold the play button and then press and hold the src button. Now you will enter Sidi and step through the contents by using sid up or sid down button just as you would use sid + and - buttons on pre 06 sids. The Set button funtions as the set button on pre 06 sids.

Yes I tried every knob in every direction etc... but still no life in live data.... :roll:
