Trionic Suites website

Postby Dilemma » Fri Mar 05, 2010 3:59 am

I host the Trionic Suites website here http://trionic.mobixs.eu

You can find all Trionic Suites (T5, T7 and T8) there and the Motronic Suite as well.
I also has a lot of tools like the BDM DOS software and scripts and documentation.

I recently added links to the release notes for each suite and to the new wiki (still needs more info).
There's also previews of T5Suite 2.0 in the links section.

If you feel the site needs more info or different links/documents feel free to post requests here.

Hi!
I can help if you need some help redesigning your webpage.
Maybe a frameless layout, css and ajax? or use one of the opensource CMS's like joomla?

Hi Johan,

Thanks for you offer. It would be nice to have a more flashy website indeed. I don't have the time nor the experience to build a slick one.
There's a couple of restrictions though. No database, no silly stuff that needs to be installed on the webserver etc. I run the page on a hosting machine that belongs to the company i work for so it needs to run without anything fancy (i don't want to burden the admin because i'm happy enough that i can use the machine as is).

Any suggestions?

Ok, here is a really ruff sketch I did.
trionic-preview.png

It would be nice if there was some type of support for php(no need for sql) to make it somewhat easier to support non javascript browsers. Or maybe use an iFrame in the content area instead of ajax if it's a non javascript browser.

I don't know about copyright and so on with the pictures in the header. Got theme from a non-official saab site, but they are probably from saab originally.

Accordion menu:
http://www.i-marco.nl/weblog/jquery-accordion-menu/

Ajax loading:
http://visionmasterdesigns.com/demo/ajaxinterface/

Just some ideas I had.

Dear Dilemma,

I downloaded the T5Suite 2.0 but when I opened the programme, there were only menu for General and help. No other menu as described in T5 manual.

Is it not available or I need to buy any licence

Why not read the T5Suite 2.0 thread from the begining?

Do you have a link to the thread? I'd gladly figure things out myself instead...

Where did you get the link for T5suiteII? in this topic - viewtopic.php?p=25537#p25537 ?

This T5SuiteII thread and above the link you will see that this

I'll only let a couple of people test so there's a licensecode check in it. Please mail me at t5suite@home.nl for a licensecode based on your hardware ID (the software will prompt you)

So there you have the answer why you have a limited version o T5SuiteII
Regards to all

Even with my limited use, I've noticed a lot of questions on why T5sutieII is asking for an activation code. Perhaps making the font on the main screen title red or in a more legible, "urgent" font would grab people's attention when attempting to download.

Maybe it is a good idea to pop up a messagebox with text "Please mail me at t5suite@home.nl for a licensecode based on your hardware ID (the software will prompt you)" when starting a unactivated T5SuiteII?

This might be the wrong place to ask - if so please move this to where it should be.

I have just installed T5 suite on my new Windows 7 computer.
I am getting errors and the prgramme quits when trying to save a project.

Is this the way I have installed it, or is there an issue with Windows 7.

Works fine on XP so far.

Probably a credentials (access rights) issue. Did you try right clicking the shortcut and running it as administrator?

Thank you G - you were right. That must be the same issue with the car pc programme I have on my mini laptop.

I never understood what the error meant before.

Again - great programme and helpful people here.
